Great place for our Ziggy to stay when we were away on holiday for two weeks. Much better than having him caged in a kennel. Had plenty of room and attention as they only have about six dogs at any one time.

First time visiting with our touring caravan. Lovely site. Very clean. 30 minute's walk into Whitby if the weather is nice or only £7 in a taxi. The Stables pub is a 10 minute walk that is well worth a visit as is the garden centre over the road. Will definitely be back again.

We stayed for two nights. Site is very clean and toilets and showers clean. In fact all facilities were clean and tidy. Pitches were hardstanding with electric. They had all the necessary disposal points for waste and toilets. Very nice views across the fields. Considering the site is next to the main A171 into whitby it was very peaceful. We walked into whitby which took approx 25 mins. There were buses as well. The cinder track was about 15 mins walk away and the views over the viaduct were beautiful. Iseal for cycling as well. Would have liked to stay longer and exlpore more. Staff were very friendly and helpful. There was a Spar shop at the petrol station which was only a short walk away.

Great stay at broadings farm caraven site, stopped for 3 nights in our motorhome for a visit to whitby. nice level pitches and spotless amenity blocks. bonus was a tap within easy reach to fill up the water tank. service was great from the staff who were ever so helpful. easy 20 minute walk to town through a short cut which is reasonably level and easier than walking down the road. 10 minutes walk to the Stables restaurant or the Sneaton castle restaurant if you want to go a bit posher. very easy to find and there is a fuel station and small supermarket just down the road. would definitely visit again. my only complaint was that the showers were too hot for me but thats very minor.

Found this campsite just outside Whitby and was very pleased we did. It was a case of drive around and pick a pitch. Toilets and showers were very clean, and unlike a lot of sites, it had 2 huge fields for exercising dogs, which is a plus in my book. Would definitely visit again and would highly recommend. July 2025 and I've booked in for a week. Everything still as great as before. If I was to moan about something it would be that the showers only last about 30 seconds before the water goes off, so you have to keep pushing the button but it's not really a problem as the water is lovely and hot

Great location. Easy walk down to bus stop for ride into Whitby or 25 minute walk into town. We parked our Motorhome in the top field with a great view over the valley. The only thing which wasn’t perfect was the push button showers. If you managed to press the very stiff button completely in, you got 12 seconds of water! Could also have done with somewhere to securely put your soap. However, the water temperature was perfect.

First visit to Broadings; Had a lovely 3 night stay here, staff were very friendly & welcoming, given great advice for walking into Whitby & recommendation for the lovely garden room at sneaton castle (which whole heartedly would recommend too). The site itself is quite open to the elements but with the most beautiful views. You'll need to take a little time to level your van. There are two shower & loo blocks, both clean & well looked after. Would Def return

Just had an amazing 2 night stay at broadings , very easy to check in , from there you just drive around and choose your pitch , plenty of shower rooms / toilets / pot wash stations / and dirty water outlet stations / freshwater taps very close by shared by others with plenty to go round, there was nothing to dislike, only thing l wasn't prepared for was the uneven pitches but nothing l couldn't quickly solve , il be better prepared next time I've just acquired ramps and chocks for leveling up better . There is pubs n restaurants near by and another big plus is the park n ride about quarter of a mile from site to get into whitby there n back cheaply for the day , we highly recommend broadings farm there was nothing to dislike, and we can't wait to find the time to return 😊

A two night stay in our motorhome here at broadings farm. Spent the first day chilling out and walked to whitby on the 2nd day. 25 minutes walk to whitby. Ask at reception regarding a scenic walk to whitby cuts out walking the main road. Peaceful location. Amenities are very good. We had hard standing pitch with water and ehu. Beautiful views at the site. Very friendly on site met a couple from Leeds who were amazing. The pitches are not very level not all but some aren't so make sure you have a spirit level and ramps with you.

Just had 4 nights on this site and it is perfect. 20 minutes walk into Whitby. Toilet and shower blocks spotless. Plenty of room between pitches . Staff very friendly. Only gripe was a caravan on site 2 up from us had there water plugged into the water tap and so no one else could use that one . Also a few of the caravans where not reversed in and so there awnings where on the wrong side and didn’t give you much privacy. Will definitely be booking to stay here again

Situated a 10min walk from Park and Ride. Buses operate about every 15 mins into Whitby during the holiday, season March to November approximately. Pitches are mostly hardstanding with ehu. Well kept site and reasonably priced All facilities required include elsan point and Grey Waste drive over facilities

Great site. 3 areas to choose from. Picked a pitch in the top field for my campervan so I can see the sunset! Dogs welcome and a lovely dog walk/field. Only 20 minutes to walk into town, quite straight forward. There is a bus, x93 I think. Super clean toilet/shower block, pretty of water taps, waste water and bin's. Well maintained grounds. Great views all around, and the Abbey in the distance. Will definitely return. Check the wind forecast if putting up an awning. They did allow my driveway awning, most say you have to keep it connected to the van, I didn’t detach it anyway. Took it down the night before I left as the wind forecast was going to be bad. Would definitely recommend

We were mostly very impressed by Broadings farm caravan site, toilets and showers spotless, only downside was the showers only ran for a matter of seconds which made showering and washing hair a challenge. Dog walks are excellent, best we've been to. Great to be so close to Whitby, shame about the narrow path next to a very busy road, thank goodness only a short section. We would definitely recommend the site and look forward to another visit.

Currently staying at Broadings Farm Caravan Site and Holiday Cottages and I must say what a lovely site it is! So well kept, the grass is short and the site is so clean. It is located just outside Whitby and covers three fields for roughly 90 caravans, plus there are another two massive dog-walking fields. There are two toilet blocks with eight toilets, eight showers, plenty of sinks, two pot-washing areas, and a laundry room. The toilets are well-kept and very clean. The views from the site are phenomenal! There are amazing views over the valleys and fields around the site. At night, the stars are amazing, and the site is so quiet overnight. Some pitches require plenty of blocks to level. There is no WiFi. The noise from the road might be loud for some (it was fine for us). ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ we will definitely be back !!!

Excellent well kept site, admittedly there's no play area for kids , all pitches are hard standing with electric and pretty much all level, the toilet and shower blocks are in excellent order and are kept very clean, as is the whole site, the walk into Whitby is relatively easy as it's mostly down hill and around a mile, it is uphill on the way back , but there's a bus stop no too far away if you need it, can't recommend it enough, we'll definitely be back

We have just returned home from a weeks stay at Cartwheel Cottage, Broadings Farm in Whitby. What a beautiful stay we had. The site itself is a mix of motor homes and caravan pitches and a few Cottages. We stayed in one of the cottages. The site is beautiful, extremely clean, and surprisingly quiet for the amount of guests staying. Our cottage was absolutely amazing. Beautifully clean, with everything we needed. Fully equipped kitchen, dishwasher, large fridge freezer and washing machine. The two bedrooms were both en-suite bathrooms. Full fee standing shower and huge bathtub! Shower was fabulous, and never short of hot water! Bedding and towels were provided and were crisp, clean and fresh. There was a very good size patio to the outside, which we spent many a night playing games and watching the sun set. The views are wonderful! The lady (apologies I didn’t get your name) who looked after the property, was absolutely lovely, nothing was too much trouble! We love Whitby and the surrounding areas, and Broadings Farm is an ideal location. Park and ride into Whitby is literally at the top of the road, less than 5 minutes drive away, and is so efficient and cost effective! Highly recommended. Dog friendly, we had two dogs with us, and there was two lovely large fields which weren’t occupied by caravans etc where we could take them for their final nightly walks. Whilst Broadings Farm is situated on a busy road, and the cottage we stayed in was right on the main road, the traffic didn’t bother us at all. We are booking again for next year, we have found our forever home from home at Broadings Farm! Absolutely superb! Thank you for making our holiday wonderful xx

Two day stay at this lovely quiet site which is a 20-30 minutes walk from Whitby. Friendly reception on arrival. The site and pitches are very well maintained. You can choose your own spot. The middle fields have grass behind the pitch and the top field has a bit more space for children wanting to play- though all the children on site during our stay were calm and quiet! Shower and toilet blocks very clean. There is a laundry room and inside pot wash space (as well as small covered out-door area). Being in a small camper (without on board fridge) the one thing that would have made our stay easier is a freezer to refreeze ice blocks… most of the vans on site were “fully loaded” so wouldn’t have need for this. The fees are very reasonable and we enjoyed our short visit to Whitby…would stay an extra day next as so much to see. Thank you for a very pleasant time 🙂

Lovely site..plenty of room between pitches. 20 mins walk into town....my only gripe is this walk is along a very busy 'A' road with no pavement for the 1st 200 metres. Nearest pub/ restaurant is again along this road. Surely for the safety of their guests, Broadings farm could build a footpath on their own land just inside their wall... As an adult I managed but when pushing a pushchair it's a bit scary!!!! Sorry to grouch but otherwise a great holiday x x

The site is place close to the town just down from the Park & Ride, I’d not recommend walking into town as there are no public footpaths for a while along a very busy road, either as we did call a local taxi - reception has details, or use the park & ride bus in town to return to the site as we did. The walk from the car park is a short one on the side of the road where the site is has a well worn path along the hedge row, we just climb the first gate which lead us into was the second of two dog walking fields of the site! Reception is well placed and they are very helpful, your allowed to pick your own pitch and the facilities a good and clean, just the one main block so I’d expect there would be slight problem when the site was full having only the one block! All in we stayed 2 nights which was just enough time to do the sites and of course the bus tour which visits all the major sites in the town of Whitby. Will come again 8/10 the town 9/10 the camp site!

Just enjoyed a 4 day stay at Broadings Farm. It was our 1st time at the site. It's easy to find, the directions given on your welcome pack where spot on. The location is perfect, a pleasant 20-30 min walk into Whitby. The views from the pitches are fabulous, unspoilt countryside. The facilities are average but clean and at £28 pn or £30pn if an event on in Whitby i think is reasonable. There are 2 lovely restaurants / pubs within a 10min walk. There is a spar and petrol station just down the road and Aldi, Lidl, Sainsbury's, B+M all within a mile or so. The pitches could do with abit of sprucing up as they do look abit untidy. The fields and hedges are well kept but the pitches definately need abit of tlc. Overall a very enjoyable stay and if visiting Whitby again I would definitely return.

Excellent location for access to Whitby. Staff are welcoming and accommodating, facilities were clean and regularly cleaned. The campsite is very peaceful and quiet! It was our first time at Broadings, it is perfect for us as we like walking and the facilities are spot on,the views we had over Fylingdales was stunning. We can't wait for our next visit. Thanks

We have stayed at the campsite several times, it's in a great location, close enough to town to give a nice walk and also near a pub and restaurant. The facilities are good and well maintained. We'll definitely visit again.
