Situated only 1 mile from the popular seaside town of Whitby, North Yorkshire, lie Broadings Farm Cottages. They are within easy reach of the beautiful North Yorkshire Coast and North Yorkshire Moors National Park and are walking distance into Whitby.
The cottages are an ideal base to explore the surrounding area and the many quaint villages, including Staithes, Runswick Bay, Robin Hood’s Bay and Grosmont to mention a few. The brooding North Yorkshire Moors are only a short distance away. This is the home of the North Yorkshire Moors Railway and of course the ‘Heartbeat’ village of Goathland. There is so much to see and do you’ll wonder how you will fit everything in.
We have 7 beautifully modern holiday cottages, our first two slightly older cottages, Whalebone (sleeps 8) and Broadings Bungalow (sleeps 4) have been receiving guests and visitors to Whitby for over 20 years. We keep them well maintained with recent updates to our bathrooms and living areas.
Our 4 newer cottages, all sleep 4 people are located on ground floor, have open plan living spaces and 2 bedrooms each. Lotties Cottage sleeps 2 people with only the 1 bedroom.
Ships Wheel and Cart Wheel cottages opened to guests in April 2021 and our newest additions Stag and Abbey View Cottages opened to guests in Late August 2021. Lotties Cottage opened to guests in 2024 and sleeps two.
All our cottages are Dog friendly, have washing machine facilities, private gardens and off-road parking. All have wi-fi.
